   Happy birthday to Atsushi. (I won't specify which particular milestone
   it is.) We're no longer partners, but he's a true gentleman and has
   remained a friend and a real rock in time of need. I'm sorry I'm not
   there for the celebration, but his love of sweets is well known among
   our friends, so I'm assuming he's happily chomping his way out from
   under a pile of cake as we speak.
