   ..and the military [1]led a coup and took over the government. That's
   not the kind of democratic reform we practice in America. Mostly.

   Not sure how the Thais feel about this, but in Thailand (and in Thai
   shops and restaurants here) you can always see a portrait of the King.
   I've never seen a portrait of Thaksin.
