Koi Kaze

   Well, Koi Kaze just ended, so it's time for a review of the series.
   For those unfamiliar with it, check out my [1]earlier episode review.

   Considering the subject matter, I really liked Koi Kaze. It dealt with
   the subject matter (incest) in a way that felt real. You really felt
   the way the various characters agonized over their situation. Even
   though it's somewhat tough to condone such a relationship, you still
   wanted to root for them... It's a series that was really a character
   piece.

   Unfortunately, I felt the ending was a little to... open. There isn't
   much a final resolution, I don't think. (Or else it was too subtle for
   me. That happens at times.) I really want to know what eventually
   became of the people, and it's unsatisfying, if perhaps somewhat
   realistic, to have that denied to me.

   I'll call the series a good one (but not great), with sub-par ending.
   I wonder if there's going to be a 13th episode OVA for the 12 episode
   series.
