   At my age of 59, the passing of Tim Russert at age 58 hits home maybe
   just a little more. Here was a man who could easily afford any type or
   amount of medical care, retire to anywhere if need be, and it didn't
   matter.
   The career and persona that was Tim Russert is now receiving deserved
   accolades from those in journalism, politics, and government and of
   course his peers in broadcasting. For my part, I'd like to note that
   while certainly a good political reporter, he was an even better
   broadcaster, a natural like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly.
   He made and remade "Meet the Press" his own. His news features and
   election coverage were always so well done. The upcoming party
   conventions and November election night coverage won't be the same.
