   There was only one great performance, by David Archuleta. His "Smokey
   Mountain Memories" was strong, on key, well arranged, his best to date
   in my opinion. And after two soft weeks, he needed this. He's back!
   The worst was no surprise, once again Ramiele Malubay. She was off key
   as always, boring as always. I want her gone! Now!
   Honorable mentions go to Michael Johns, Syesha Mercado, and David
   Cook, all solid, enjoyable performances. They should all be safe,
   unlike the remaining.
   Brooke White did a little better this week but Jason Castro and Carly
   Smithson continued their slight but unmistakable decline. Carly should
   have done better, but oddly, she was the one stuck with the bad
   arrangement, not Syesha. Simon was dead on about her outfit.
   Kristy Lee Cook picked a good song but just couldn't do anything with
   it. Simon was right again: "pleasant but forgettable."
   If Ramiele survives, then I'd say Kristy will be going home tomorrow
   night.
