   I saw my first and last half hour or so of "The Next Great American
   Band" tonight, apparently a reality show eliminating a band a week or
   so. It is to reality shows what Taco Bell is to restaurants.
   What's really lame are judges who fawn over these bar acts. Maybe it's
   because of the writer's strike.
