	I think August is my least favorite month. As a
	young lad, there was all kinds of stuff to do in
	June and July. But come August, the beaches closed
	and the summer Park and Recreation programs ended.
	My mother started dragging me off to buy school
	clothes, where appearance trumps comfort. I did
	like buying school supplies and looked forward to
	the start of school if nothing else to break the
	boredom and often, the heat....
