   Recall the post about, [1]Kamchatka Volcano Spews Ash, well dgavin at
   [2]Bad Astronomy and Universe Today has some beautiful pictures of
   Kliuchevskoi erupting

     It's on of the few subduction volcanoes that has hot enough magma
     for fluid lava flows. The Eruption started on May 31st.

     The pictures were taken by the USGS AVO and not the Russian KVERT.
     KVERT is seriously underfunded and no longer staffed, so updates
     are not readily available from them anymore.
