The Pain Of Our Failure To Enforce The Laws!

   First, we have these reports from Drudge:

   [1]Minorities Now Form Majority in One-Third of Most-Populous
   Counties...

   [2]Anglos no longer majority in Denver...

   Then I read in the [3]SacBee that the Social Security Administration
   has sent letters to employers informing them that their workers'
   numbers don't match names in federal databases.

     As early as this month, the Department of Homeland Security plans
     to require all employers who have received those letters to fire
     the workers if the discrepancy cannot be resolved relatively
     quickly.

     The department is planning to use the letters to track down
     employers and conduct raids if necessary, leading to fines or
     prosecution of businesses that don't fire the workers in question.

   On the one hand I sympathize with the illegals. Many have come to our
   country seeking more income in jobs that apparently others won't do,
   or at least at the prevailing wages. They are hard workers and having
   kids and sending them to school to, hopefully, be good citizens.

   On the other hand, our politicians since the last immigration bill was
   passed in 1986, have turned their backs on a growing problem. Laws
   have been passed and are not enforced. Now, when illegals have built
   whole communities, we want to enforce immigration laws. The problems
   that have been swept under the rug for 20 years, have outgrown the
   rug, and the house the rug is in.

   The result will be massive disruption of families, firings, payments
   under the table, more identity theft and a breakdown of respect for
   the rule of law. Shame!
