   [1]These photos are exquisite. I find it difficult to believe that if
   we could vertically sum across people's preferences, we would not come
   up with a sum that would be more than enough to renovate the Hubble
   and send up another space telescope as well. Of course identifying and
   collecting the sums would be no easy task. And it's easy for me to say
   all this since the contributions of Canadian taxpayers to the Hubble
   are likely to be miniscule.
   I think my favourite of the images is the "[2]hour glass nebula".
