   [1]Eugene Volokh points out the obvious, that there's no first
   amendment exception to hate speech:

     Simply asserting that some speech is unprotected under current
     First Amendment law because it's "hate speech" doesn't demonstrate
     much of anything -- except that it demonstrates to those readers
     who are familiar with First Amendment law that the speaker isn't
     making a sound First Amendment argument.

   Of course, I said that a [2]while ago, but then, I'm an Electrical
   Engineer, not an expert in constitutional law. It's nice to hear the
   same from someone who actually knows what he's talking about.
