   A chilling new study finds that members of a certain profession, one
   very necessary to protect our freedoms, are committing violent crimes
   at an alarming rate, victims of an environment that warps their
   morality and destroys their emotional stability.
   I'm not sure what can be done about [1]this tragic toll, just that
   something should be -- nay, must be done, both for their sake and for
   the safety of the public.
