   I underwent the [1]Rite of Election today. It was pretty cool, even
   though sadly I had no family present with me. Still, the community was
   with me, and that was neat all by itself. The ceremony was overseen by
   archbishop and cardinal [2]Adam Maida. Neat guy, and funny too. It was
   in downtown Detroit off Woodward Ave, at the home parish of the
   cardinal. The [3]Archdiocese of Detroit has been active since the
   1830s and is one of America's oldest.

   Cool huh?
