   Remember the debate over Bush's tax cuts, back when they were first
   proposed? At a pivotal moment, [1]Greenspan weighed in with the
   opinion they would be good for the economy, and opposition faded
   quickly in the face of a rare, unexpected endorsement from the
   near-legendary figure.
   Now Greenspan is being [2]widely cited for criticisms of Bush and the
   Republican Congress in his book. The MSM finds this irresistible, of
   course, but when you listen to the actual criticism, it's that neither
   did enough to curtail spending -- this just before a big showdown
   between Bush and Democrats on spending.
