   Well this is pretty cool: [1]Louisiana just elected an Indian-American
   Governor--and the first person of Indian immigrant background to win a
   U.S. governorship.

   I've been watching him from afar for years. He seems like a really
   bright star for the GOP--indeed, I would anticipate that if he does
   well as Governor, and is re-elected in 2011, he will be a strong
   contender for the Presidency if the Dems are currently in control of
   the White House there. He's a lot more conservative than I am on some
   issues, but he's quite an impressive guy.
