   A position has opened up on the Watcher's Council. If you have a blog,
   considering applying for it--the current rules [1]are here.

   Not long ago a scholar at Carnegie-Mellon produced a network analysis
   of the blogosphere that suggested that you could get a pretty good
   idea of what was going on by reading just 100 blogs. Present or
   emeritus Watcher's Council members were heavily represented in that
   100.

   The Watcher's Council is a great way to find new readers, make a
   difference, and to punch above your weight class.
