   "Gonna" (as in "going to") has been [1]admitted to the dictionary.

   It's an odd linguistic construction since it's not standard
   contraction and doesn't even really save space. It's just faster and
   easier to say.

   I suppose some grammarians are furious, but too bad. ;-)
