   So. It turns out that while I was in the hospital recuperating, and
   unable to access the internet more than briefly, a bunch of people in
   the blogosphere and amongst commenters and even in email have been
   harassing and badmouthing my wife because our marriage is on the
   rocks.

   You know what, people? I shouldn't have posted that. I was drunk and
   feeling sorry for myself, and the next day I wound up in the hospital.

   If you people want to be of assistance, do me a favor and stop acting
   like you know what's going on. You do not. I shouldn't have posted
   that garbage in the first place.

   That's my wife you're talking about and, even more important, the
   mother of my children. So you people stop it right now. Please.
