   Via [1]GeekPress, the [2]top 30 failed technology predictions. My
   favorite:

     âThe wireless music box has no imaginable commercial value. Who
     would pay for a message sent to no one in particular?â â Associates
     of David Sarnoff responding to the latterâs call for investment in
     the radio in 1921.

   It's interesting how convoluted and fractious a process technological
   advancement really was; this tends to demonstrate why the free market
   works so well as compared to centrally directed investment.
