     There are two articles of religious faith among opponents of the
     practice: (1) it never works, (2) it exists on a slippery slope
     that leads inexorably to widespread abuse.

   I seem to recall some talk of "torture factories" where this practice
   was supposedly common. Based on this ABC report, it certainly sounds
   like the administration has been quite selective in who the technique
   is applied to, perhaps even too selective...
