Just picking up a few of my things

I didn't ever give up my comment account, you know. I mean, compared
to some of the wackos around here? So the other day I was defending a
deposition (which means imitating a potted plant) in this really
stupid case where I'm defending these three show business kids against
these ridiculous claims. Though one of them did get some work
recently! Yeah, [1]here's my guy -- he's the one who can't resist the
bait! He did three more of them ([2]one, [3]two, [4]three!)! They were
on the Super Bowl! (I said [5]the SUPER BOWL!!) I love this kid!

Anyway, it was slow going. So like all the other lawyers in the
deposition except the one asking the questions in this stuffy
windowless conference room, I'm thumbing away on my BlackBerry. So
that always means a visit to Dean's World.

And that almost always means a comment. But you know, as brilliant as
[6]my BlackBerry is, there are certain technical limitations to
browsing, much less authoring, Web content. Especially during a
   deposition.

OK, so. I, uh, kind of submitted a comment twice, but not exactly the
same comment, and I sent Dean an email asking him to correct it, see,
but he was off doing something productive, I think. I think he was at
   an interview, wasn't he?

Right. So, I was saying? So I got home and I was on the machine and
the double comment was still up there so I said, well, let's see if
this works. And I logged in like I was still a Dean's World
contributor and holy smokes, whaddya know, the key still works! So I
slipped in re-e-e-e-eal quiet and deleted the extra comment.

Hanh. Okay so here I am, I think. Yup. Boy, I don't miss that awful
Powerblogs interface not one bit! Powerblogs. Yeah, power -- like an
   Edsel. What a pain.

Okay, I think, I guess I should log out now, I'm done. I'll go back to
my own new blog -- did I mention that? My new blog that Dean told you
about? [7]Likelihood of Success? With David Nieporent from
[8]Overlawyered? Right, now you remember. Of course.

Well, you know, it's funny being in here, isn't it? Kind of surreal.
Oh, gosh, look -- there's Dean's huge stash of half-baked,
never-to-be-completed posts. Hmm. Circumcision, American Idol, oral
traditions in religion, dog-eared copy of the Koran... yeah, I mean,
can't miss any of that. I mean, not as long as there's a whole bad
[9]editorial policy, right? Especially now that Michelle Malkin's blog
(no link -- I'll be accused of trying to generate traffic if I ping
back, especially since I told Allahpundit [oops! is that bad?] about
the whole thing) put him at the same "table" as Andrew Sullivan. Yeah,
now that's rational. As if you'd catch Dean dead in that neighborhood!

Anyway, okay, I guess I ought to mosey on, then -- did I mention my
own new blog? it's here, [10]it's really good -- and, uh, well, I
can't imagine Dean really cares if I keep the login info? I mean,
maybe he forgot, or maybe it's just, like an honor system?

Or maybe, uh. No, no. Never mind.
