   I know that the actual lawyers who post here at DW are - by virtue of
   actually being lawyers - far more knowledgeable about law (and
   therefore, I assume, basic civics) than myself. I'm not a dumb guy,
   but I am a layman where law is concerned.

   So maybe my reaction to [1]this story is based on icomplete
   understanding of nuance, or just a mark of my ignorance. In fact I
   assume it to be so, and I invite the lawyers to explain to me why I am
   overreacting.

   Until then, I'm in favor of impeaching the President of the United
   States. Despite all my disagreements on policy and critiques, I would
   have laughed at you for being a raving loon yesterday had you floated
   impeachment to me then. But not today.
