   Ann Althouse (via her [1]biggest fan, of course) [2]writes about a
   supposed phenomenon -- the so-called "New Victorians." What I find
   interesting is that this development, which seems not only to include
   a style but also at least an aspiration to serious monogamy, is an
   interesting counterweight to Brink Lindsey's "sexual morality is
   history, so now it's safe to be libertarian" argument.

   A counterweight -- not an answer, and not a proof. But if this is
   indeed a trend and not a "lifestyle," why, we old New Victorians will
   be pleased indeed, in that self-satisfied way that we have, of course.
