   Every American required to carry a national ID card, or one certified
   by the Federal government.

   Employers required to demand this ID before anyone is allowed to work
   for them.

   An army of Federal enforcers whose duty is to periodically check
   employers and demand that they show proof that all their workers hold
   this national ID card. With individual entrepreneurs and small
   businesses being most often hit.

   Isn't it funny how the folks who usually say big government is bad and
   intrudes too much upon private business are advocating one of the
   biggest government intrusions on private business ever proposed?

   Yet isn't that exactly what the proponants of "tough employer
   sanctions" on businesses that hire illegals are proposing?
