   Probably the author/philosopher who most influenced me in my youth was
   Robert Heinlein. Although I don't believe everything he did at all,
   there was no author who could make me think quite like Heinlein could.

   His hundredth birthday will be next week. [1]Here's a nice
   retrospective on his work and influence.
