Hi, my name is Isaac ****; I=E2m a graduate student at Harvard
University=E2s Kennedy School of Government. I=E2m currently doing
research for Michael Maier (the founder of Blogform Publishing and
a current Fellow at the school) about online citizen journalism.
Your blog is one of the 100 most popular and influential blogs in
the world (congratulations!), and we hope we could briefly get your
perspective on what blogging is, and how it compares to
=E2traditional=E2 ways of producing and consuming news.

I had issues with the survey, but I filled it out as best I could. I
get these things all the time, and they're annoying but I always fill
them out because I strongly support the sciences, even if it's some
obscure grad student. It happens at least once every month or two.

I was amused though. Harvard's Kennedy School of Government considers
Dean's World one of the top 100 most popular and influential blogs in
the world. Ya know, if you looked in the popular press or at some of
the other "big blogs" out there you'd never hear that. God only knows
why. Sure, it strokes the ego, but it's frickin' weird.

I am also given to think, "Hmm, isn't that sort of like being one of
the top 100 hockey players in all of Ecuador?"

   Don't applaud. Throw money!
