   Tony Woodlief notices some [1]rather despicable behavior by drug
   companies recently.

   Why on Earth did conservatives or even libertarians ever become
   believers that multinational, publicly-traded corporations are in some
   way innately good? They're state-created, state-defined,
   state-sustained artificial entities with no soul that tend to crush
   the humanity out of people. Nor do they instantly become good just
   because they make drugs. Like all such artificial beasts, the drug
   companies have absolutely no innate morality except "make more money
   for shareholders." Period. Why they get imbued with this aura of
   saintliness is beyond me.
