   My thesis is that the American government carried out Saddam's
   execution on Eid for one simple reason: to rebut Ayman al-Zawahiri's
   Eid video which I'm about to analyze for you. I would say that the US
   was successful, wouldn't you? How many times did Zawahiri's eid speech
   make it into the media?

   In any event, here are the most salient points -- deconstructed --
   from Zawahiri's speech. This is a post I had much fun, and much
   disgust, writing. I encourage you to pay close attention to the
