   The Prince and The Queen recently got a copy of [1]Pirates of the
   Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest for Christmas. It's the sequel to the
   first movie.

   I remember the first in the series. I really wasn't sure I liked the
   movie during the first half hour or so because it seemed so over the
   top and historically inaccurate. Mind you, I don't mind over the top
   and historically inaccurate--that's always going to happen--but during
   the opening I was thinking, "Jeez, these guys aren't even trying."

   Then the ghost pirates and their quest for magic treasure showed up,
   and I realized "Oh, haha, this is a fantasy movie! Okay!" I tucked
   into my popcorn and just enjoyed.

   Kind of funny how suspension of disbelief works sometimes, isn't it?

   Anyway, I finally watched the sequel last night. How awesome: the
   Flying Dutchman, the Kraken, Davey Jones himself from the bottom of
   the sea.... I thought it was even more fun and enjoyable romp than the
   first film, and I'm looking forward to the concluding chapter of the
   trilogy?
