   Something I've long been curious about, and I'm sorry if I put this
   offensively; the question is meant with seriousness...

   The Church has a ban on gays having sex, and on priests having sex. It
   would seem that gay Catholics would therefore find a natural home in
   the priesthood. But the Church has a ban on priests being gay. Why?
   Why does the Catholic Church care who a priest is refraining from
   having sex with?
