   This is from the after math of the UC-Irvine protest against Daniel
   Pipes. I personally believe the protest was an idiotic act and wrote
   againt it. [1]However, a number of websites including Pipes and
   Militant Islam Monitor smeared one particular girl in reacting to the
   protests:

     How many people do you know that are fortunate enough to have the
     opportunity to be smeared by the likes of Militant Islam Monitor?
     And to think that trashing of me was endorsed by Daniel Pipes? ON
     HIS FRONT PAGE?

   She then refutes all the allegations made against her. The most
   salient is she was not at the protest and that she is not the person
   in the youtube videos as numerous articles allege. However, Fox News
   put her picture on the news all the same.

   Maybe lawyers can tell us what is the standard for libel for private
   citizens: isn't it just, prove falsity? I think she's got that here
   because she's not the person in the tape as Pipes et all claimed on
   Fox.

   Meanwhile, the rightosphere [2]ran with the smear.
