   Moe Lane notes that the new House Speaker has started making noises
   about [1]getting more friendly with nuclear power.

   My God I hope it's true. I've been saying for years now that I'll
   compromise with the Global Warming crowd if they'll get over their
   insane fear of nuclear power (and the dread demonic nuclear waste).

   This is the sort of thing that can only happen usually when an
   opposition party finds itself back in the majority. That's when they
   have to start rethinking their core issues and learning how to
   compromise and think creatively again.
