   I've noticed, since I discovered that I sometimes lose control of my
   drinking, that exercise and good nutrition and sleep really help keep
   the alcohol beast at bay.

   I've also noticed that some kinds of mixer can be surprisingly fun.

   Here's one of my favorites:

   Make yourself a Bloody Mary, but instead of mixing in vodka, mix in
   beer instead. Like, instead of a shot of vodka, use a few ounces of
   beer instead.

   A can of beer can make a couple or three Bloody Marys. They still
   taste good, and you get a little alcohol, and the carbonation in the
   beer gives the Bloody Mary a surprising little kick. But you don't get
   anywhere near as sloshed. It's kinda nice.

   I like mine with lots of extra cayenne and/or Tabasco.
