   Sometimes you can't make stuff up: [1]Church hosts pancake breakfast
   to discuss porn.

   I think part of the problem here is that the definition of porn is
   somewhat--and I do mean only somewhat--subjective. I have always had a
   hard time viewing nudity, even nudity that's portrayed in a somewhat
   titillating fashion, as "pornography." It still annoys me when I
   remember growing up a teen boy in the 1970s and 1980s and being told
   that tame stuff like Playboy was "porn."

   Yet it turns out I do agree that there is such a thing as porn, and I
   don't like most porn. I think it degrades human sexuality, in the same
   way that watching a heroin junkie is degrading to the idea of
   happiness.

   On the other side, I'm annoyed by people who utterly condemn anything
   that smells even remotely of human sexuality.

   I guess I'm ultimately just tired of the [2]Manichean worldview. I
   agree that there is good, I agree that there is evil, and sometimes
   you have to choose. But I no longer believe that "sometimes" means
   "always."
