   Via Instapundit comes [1]this amusing thread at Reason. But I can't
   stop myself from objecting mildly, because people mis-speak all the
   time. I'm no Huckabee fan (indeed, I'm highly unlikely to vote for him
   in either the primaries or the general election) but to an extent it
   gets tiresome when we do this to politicians. This Reason commenter
   gets it right:

     I don't think it takes much generosity; people misspeak all the
     damn time...the only people whose spoonerisms we really remember
     are those who have a camera trained at their heads every waking
     hour.

   The tendency to pounce on someone for saying something like this is
   often contemptible, especially if it rises above more than the
   occasional chuckle. If I hear the "Is our kids learning" line spewed
   at me one more time, for example, I just may have to kill someone...
