   Actually there's lots of reasons, but two are the [1]availability
   heuristic and the closely related [2]representative heuristic.

   Believe it or not, [3]Daniel Kahneman won a Nobel Prize in Economics
   for describing things like this, even though he'd never had a class in
   economics.
