The Carnival of the Liberated

Welcome to the Carnival of the Liberated, a sampler of some of the
best posts of the week from Iraqi and Afghan bloggers. This week we've
got blogging under a real name, the Sarafiya bridge, the attack on the
Iraqi parliament, and much, much more.

[1]Afghan Lord has decided to post under his own name.

[2]Baghdad Connect comments on the attack on the Iraqi parliament last
   week.

[3]Roads to Iraq seems to believe that the destruction of the Sarafiya
bridge (and the attack on the al-Askari shrine lsat year) was the work
of the Americans. [4]Iraqi Konfused Kid is posting about the
destruction of the bridge, too, in an angry, expletive-filled post. He
blames the destruction and death on...the insurgency. Go figure.
[5]Iraq the Lasting Love has a history of the bridge (with pictures).
[6]Anarki-13 has an outstanding analysis of the attack with many
pictures and diagrams. Plow through his rather eccentric writing style
   and read the whole thing!

Mama of [7]Emotions... looks back fondly to Iraq as it was four years
ago. She's nostalgic for the good old days.

[8]Hammorabi links to pictures of the aftermath of the attack in
   Kerbala.

Adel at [9]Hometown Baghdad takes his life in his hands, conceals a
video camera, and walks through a dangerous Baghdad neighborhood.

Omar of [10]Iraq the Model comments on the withdrawal of Sadr movement
   ministers from the Iraqi government.

[11]The Mesopotamian wonders about the financing of terrorism in Iraq.

Dave Schuler posts regularly to his own weblog, [12]The Glittering
Eye. The Carnival was originally conceived by Ryan Boots.
