   I was writing the book and was reminded of something.

   People often wonder what will/can replace hardline Islam in the Muslim
   world.

   Uh, Bollywood. This stuff is immensely popular from Morocco to
   Phillipines. It used to be the case that on Eid (an Islamic festival),
   Pakistani state TV used to show a Bollywood film. One year they
   switched to Iranian films presumably to be more religious (which are
   artistic, have no semi nudity, but are boring). The next year we were
   back to Indian flicks.

   Here is the actress Tabu (who is Muslim and from Pakistan) -- one of
   my favorites cuz she's so natural. The song is called Rang De. Color
   me. Ignore the sideshow dancers. Just follow them hips.
