Great Story from Baghdad

Via Instapundit, [1]here's a great video from Baghdad from ABC News.

Michael Yon's really got me thinking that for some time now perhaps
it's been a mistake to only bash the mainstream press for not doing
enough good reporting on Iraq. Sure, they deserve criticism for that.
But my wife also criticized Tony Snow and the White House press staff
a few months ago. Tony seemed to take it well but was looking for
   constructive suggestions.

I think Michael Yon's "Tabula Rasa" may point to the answer: the
military itself needs to get much more media-savvy and media-friendly
rather than media-hostile. Sometimes some of us get so wrapped up in
defending the people in the military that we forget that the press is
human too, and if they're abused and treated like a hostile element
then we shouldn't be surprised if they respond in kind.

Yon also observed that Petreus seems much more media-savvy and
intelligent than other generals. I'm wondering if this story isn't
   proof of that.
