Misogyny--But No Misandry--In The Blogosphere?

The folks at Huffington Post think they have [1]discovered proof of
the blatant misogyny of the blogosphere. Michelle Malkin [2]notices
they only see it when rightists do it to leftists.

Me? I've noticed pretty consistently in the blogosphere that while
women are more often subject to sexually derogatory comments, men are
also routinely pilloried in ways that only happen because they're men.

I notice that when I get an avalanche of foul and obscene (and
sometimes sexual) remarks aimed at me, no one ever says it's because
I'm a man. Furthermore, I've had the "you're only attacking her
because she's a woman" garbage thrown at me so often when I've been
even mildly critical of something a female blogger said, I've actually
started trying to avoid ever arguing in any way with one, at least
cross-blog. Even when they attack me or lie about me, it seems best to
ignore them just so I don't hear phony charges of sexism or misogyny.

Indeed, I could point to examples of this garbage, but then I would
again be accused of "attacking" the women I've seen do it. As has
   happened so many times before.

And let's not forget things so many female (and so-called "feminist")
bloggers said about the falsly accused Duke LaCrosse team. Guilty of
   being male--it's not uncommon.
