   General McCaffrey has published a [1]shorter, more to the point
   version of his recent report on Iraq.

   He remains firm that the situation is not hopeless, that many things
   are going wrong but many others are going right, and that premature
   withdrawl would be disastrous. I couldn't agree with him more.
