The Carnival of the Liberated
http://www.deanesmay.com/posts/1159280655.shtml
Welcome to the Carnival of the Liberated, a sampler of some of the
best posts of the week from Iraqi and Afghani bloggers. First, to all
of the Muslim Iraqi bloggers: Ramadan kareem. This week we have
dividing Iraq, the Israeli involvement in Kurdistan, garbage
collection, and more.
[1]Baghdad Connect comments on a BBC report that Israelis are training
Kurdish terrorists in northern Iraq. There have been reports of this
sort for a long time. I honestly don't know whether this is a
sanctioned activity of the Israeli government or not. Unfortunately,
the BBC story doesn't do much to clear that up. [2]Imad Khadduri posts
on the same subject.
You might want to take a look at [3]Roads to Iraq's post on the
prospects for dividing Iraq into distinct ethnic/sectarian zones.
Speaking of dividing Iraq, [4]Iraqi Konfused Kollege Kid writes about
his four friends--two Shi'ites, one Sunni, and one Christian--killed
by a roadside bomb in July.
Ishtar of [5]Iraqi Screen posts on the civil war.
[6]It Is All About Our Life makes a few observations about garbage
collection, hospitals, and T-walls.
Dave Schuler posts regularly to his own weblog, [7]The Glittering Eye.
The Carnival was originally conceived by Ryan Boots.
