   It's being reported that he died of typhoid fever. [1]Ace thinks it
   may be legit.
   Of course, bin Laden has probably exercised very little operational
   control since Torah Borah and operated primarily a figurehead since
   then, and it probably would have been better symbolically if he'd died
   humiliated in a U.S. prison. Still, better dead than alive and
   inimical.
