   Once the bill is passed, all grants exceeding $25,000 will be reported
   to a searchable database, giving the small number of people who
   actually care enough about government waste to research the issue a
   valuable force multiplier.
   Kudos to the [1]PorkBusters team, and especially to [2]Glenn, who
   really spearheaded the whole movement. As I've said before, my
   attitude toward the PorkBusters project was amiable cynicism: it
   seemed like a well-intended idea but I never thought it would actually
   accomplish anything more useful than the catchy logo. I've rarely been
   happier to be wrong.
