Threats of Censorship?

Ed Morrissey says [1]Democrats are censoring Disney and ABC, but the
evidence he points to--[2]this letter from Senate Democratic
leaders--is less than convincing. As best I can figure out, since the
Democrats note that access to the public airwaves carries a
responsibility to the public? Well that happens to be true. I suppose
the insinuation here is that they are threatening to remove ABC's
broadcasting license if they don't get their way. Yet I've read that
entire letter and I see no such threat. Nor do I see how, even if you
"read between the lines" and infer a threat that isn't actually made,
anyone would think Democrats would actually be able to carry off such
a threat. (A threat which, again, they did not actually make.)
I would agree that those who accused Republicans three years ago of
"censorship" when they protested a movie about Ronald and Nancy Regan
were wrong. It is not "censorship" to protest a movie. Neither is it
"censorship" for members of Congress to lodge such protests.
