   Obviously, this was Ben Sisco.

   Picard sat out the First Cardassian war, and helped craft the deal
   which would fail spectacularly enough that the Maquis were created.
   Sisco started the Federation/Dominion War-- because it was the right
   thing to do under the circumstances. Kirk beat up apollo. Sisco told
   the Bajorian gods to work for him...

   Janeway... Janeway went back in time in order to save the life of one
   crewmember of the dozens who died under her command. Sisco sent his
   own Girlfriend to jail for breaking Federation Law. And Archer was the
   Captain of the ship which was not cannon. At least, I don't consider
   Star Trek's 5th installment Cannon...

   What do you guys think? Who was the best Star Trek Captain? Could
   Sisco take Adama in a fair fight?
