   Because of delays I did not foresee, I stopped taking orders for
   Methuselah's Daughter about 6 weeks ago. I apologize for that, I was a
   naif. I overlooked things I shouldn't have. It was entirely my faul.
   But at this point all paid orders are in the mail and you should all
   get them within a week or so.

   I again apologize. I did not realize it would take as long as it did.
   I won't do that again. If you don't get your specially autographed and
   numbered copy by, say, a week from Monday, please let me know by
   comment or email and I'll make sure you get it, even if I have to send
   you a second copy (although they're very expensive so I hope you won't
   take advantage of me on that).

   The paperback copies through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and regular
   booksellers should be available in another week or so.

   I hope you know I am very very proud of this book. I honestly believe
   it's the best creative endeavor I've ever been a part of, with the
   exception of my two sons with my wife Rosemary. I hope you found it
   worth the wait.

   Again, if you don't get it in the mail within a reasonable time period
   please let me know. It's in the mail, no kidding.
