   The British Medical Journal notes that, due to cultural, funding, and
   political issues, [1]Iraqi hospitals often won't treat Iraqi soldiers,
   and as such Iraq armed forces are still in need of considerable
   outside assistance from coalition forces.

   Some will undoubtedly look at this as proof that the entire operation
   is screwed up. Nonsense. The elected government has only been in power
   for about 6 months. What stories like this serve to illustrate is that
   there's still work to do, and what the Iraqis need more than anything
   else is time.

   Premature withdrawl would, as has been noted many times, be an
   incredible betrayal by coalition forces.
