Major concerns at the voting precinct...
http://www.deanesmay.com/posts/1162950208.shtml

My voting precinct is right across the street from me (at an
elementary school). I went early, about 9:15am and got in and out
quickly (about 20 minute max). I went back at 5:20pm with my little
sister (who stays with us) so she could vote. We noticed there was a
very long line (I counted 171 people) when we got there. But then I
noticed something that slipped my vision earlier in the morning: this
elementary school housed two precincts. My precinct had about 20
people in line and was moving quickly. I took a sneak peek into the
gymnasium (where the other precinct was at) and saw three voting
booths while my precinct had ten! And to make matters more concerning,
all 171 people in line at the other precinct were black. I started
talking to those in line; asking them where they lived. And many of
them laughed and said they live in northern Romulus, Michigan (where
it is predominately black). Some of them were in line for 2 hours. I
spent almost 45 minutes talking to them and saw people just start
leaving while my precinct had no line.

Now I don't know much about how these precincts work. But why the
unequal amounts of voting booths? Is there a funding issue? And why is
there a funding issue if that's the case. And why did it have to be
majority black folks getting the shaft on the voting booths? I'm no
conspiracy theorist (except when it comes to professional basketball)
   but the whole situation stank.
