   The Defense Department issues a [1]point-by-point response to the Army
   Times, challenging them to provide specifics to back up their gross
   generalizations.

   Meanwhile, Gateway Pundit argues with facts, logic, and charts that
   Rumsfeld is [2]one of our most effective Secretaries of Defense in
   history.

   Frankly, Donald Rumsfeld is one of the main reasons I will vote
   Republican for tomorrow's House and Senate races. I don't find his
   critics to be particularly rational or persuasive.
